On day 2 and 3 in Singapore, we explored some fantastic spots and had a fun time trying different foods.
We went to the Maxwell hawker food center to try chicken and rice (highlighted on Michelin guide and by Anthony Bourdain) – it was good! The spice was the best part.

We went to a Buddhist temple in Chinatown:

And explored the Flower Garden and Cloud Forest near Marina Bay Sands. The Cloud Forest was crazy – indoor waterfalls and all sorts of exotic plants, plus a Jurassic Park theming with animatronic dinosaurs. Fun fact: the Marina Barrage controls the flow of water in and out of the Marina allowing for boats to use the marina without consideration for tides.

We went over to Sentosa island for an evening on the Luge – it’s like a downhill seated scooter. Then tried Din Tai Fung (popular chain) for noodles and dumplings!

Day 3 we had coffee at a super cool safari themed cafe, went over to the Botanical gardens, then lunch at SushiGo (sushi comes in a little robot to the table).

We later explored Mount Faber Park with a view of the city and a crazy pedestrian sky bridge probably 30m in the air. To cap off the day we headed to the Skypark Observatory at Marina Bay Sands.

Awesome views and a water show down in the marina.

Now off to Kuala Lampur, Malaysia!
